All fluorescent lamps contain a certain amount of mercury. Mercury exposure has been linked to many serious illnesses, including brain damage. Proper disposal of fluorescent lamps usually requires taking them to a certified recycling facility to properly dispose of them.
Starting with the Velocity lamps used in the SunStar 332 and continuing through the entire line of lamps used in ETS tanning beds, all Wolff lamps will be certified "green" which means they can be tossed in the trash*, saving you time and money in recycling costs.
*Consult your local laws for complete regulations.
